California Kingsnake Poster This one of a kind poster represents 30 specimens of the California Kingsnake that were captured and photographed during over two decades of work carried out by a dedicated handful of amateur field herpetologists. Never before have so many variations of California Kingsnakes been shown together side by side. This groundbreaking poster shows both geographic and polymorphic variation. It is perfect for display in science classrooms, biology labs or on your bedroom wall (for those so inclined). Many thanks to Brian Hubbs, author of "Common Kingsnakes, a Natural History of Lampropeltis getula", who was the technical consultant on this piece of natural history art. *allow 3 weeks for delivery if purchased before December 31st. Polymorphism Poster This poster was created to showcase the phenotypic variability within a single species of snake, the Northwestern Gartersnake (Thamnophis ordinoides). The Northwestern Gartersnake is one of the most variably colored and patterned snakes in the world. This makes them an excellent example of biological Polymorphism. All 18 snakes on this poster were photographed by the same camera equipment. This ensures that the variation visible in the poster represents actual variation rather than variations in the photographic process. The poster includes a brief definition of the term polymorphism making it an excellent display piece for science classrooms, or biology labs. Locality Rosy Boa Poster This phenomenal poster shows 52 locality specific Rosy Boa phenotypes in 110 images! In one poster you can now see Rosy Boa color and pattern variation like it has never been seen before, side by side, in both dorsal (top view) and ventral (bottom view) images. Each dorsal view has a corresponding ventral view of the same animal. All images on this poster were taken in house, with the same camera equipment using the same settings. This ensures that the variation visible in the poster represents actual variation rather than variations in the photographic process. All pattern views were shot over the same gray card background further ensuring color correctness in the final product. This poster was designed with a pleasing overall composition but retains a very technical, or textbook feel making it an excellent display piece for science classrooms, or biology labs. This poster would not have been possible without the assistance of Jerry Hartley, breeder of Rosy Boas and owner of LocalityRosys.com.
